GDPR 25th May 2018
On 25th May 2018, a change in Data Protection legislation comes into force. This affords a greater level of protection to an individual’s rights regarding the usage, storage and availability of their personal data held by companies and institutions.
Data protection and information security are something that we take seriously at Freeland Freight Service.
The details we hold include your name, email address and telephone number(s) as provided by you on a business card, in an email or phonecall. This information is never sold to/shared with any third parties and we take great care in only contacting you with important and relevant information regarding transport, crane hire and company matters.
In the event that there are changes in the way we securely process data, we will communicate these changes to you. I have uploaded our Data Protection Policy to our website https://freelandfreight.co.uk/gdpr-privacy-policy/, please take time to read this and should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
Should you decide that you no longer wish to be contacted by us, please get in touch and we will immediately remove all information. However, if we do not hear from you, it shall be assumed you are happy for us to continue contacting you and hold your details safely.
Kind Regards,
Philip Sutherland
